Maywind
Owner / Proponent
Maywind Developments is a privately owned British Columbia company focused on responsible, long-term investment in coastal communities.
Since acquiring Lot 543 in 2022, Maywind has been focused on balancing three core objectives: preserving significant natural areas, supporting Ucluelet’s long-term housing needs, and contributing meaningful infrastructure improvements that benefit the broader community.
Hyphocus Island is envisioned as a long-term investment in Ucluelet, guided by stewardship rather than short-term speculation.

Their work emphasizes context-sensitive design, clarity in approvals processes, and translating community values into practical planning outcomes.
